Pookster And Bubs Children's series

My kids love books! I have to say that I am a Christian but we don't attend church regularly. For that reason I still try to do what I can to instill good Christian values in my children in the most fun and interactive ways I can find! Thanks to Bring it On! Communications I got to review two books that do just that!Bring it on! Communications is a media company that specializes in promoting the release of new Christian Titles. The owner, Rhonda Funk, also happens to be a writer herself. The two books I reviewed were actually written by her and a part of a series of Christian Morals Children's Books. Bring it on! Communications represents not only authors of Children's books but also of adult Christian books both fiction and non-fiction.

Both of these books are awesome! I love that the main character is named Pookster. Who names their child that? LOL It's so cute and Pookster and her brother, Bubs are characters that any kid can relate to. My daughter was immediately pointing to Pookster and saying, "that's me" (and yes, she does act like Pookster sometimes). Pookster and the Practically Perfect Pickle was the perfect story for my kids (say that fast three times). This is the exact problem they are having. The oldest always thinks the youngest wants her "toys". I don't want to give the story away but I love how they relate it to the bible and what the right thing to do is. My kids are young but they actually understood it. I'm sure they don't totally understand the bible links but at least I am presenting it to them.
They were a little too young to understand Pookster and the Unloose Tooth and I think it scared them a little. =) They both just got all their teeth in and couldn't imagine them coming out. I think this one is one to save for kids who are actually at that stage in their life. It's super cute and a little funny and any kid with a loose tooth or unloose tooth can relate. I can remember wanting to lose my teeth so I could be like my friends. Now I can think back to how silly that was.
Overall, I absolutely adore these books. They would be perfect for a Sunday School Class or if you're like me, perfect to share with your kids in your own home. You can create a whole lesson around the bible verse for the story, including creating pictures, finding the verse in the bible and lots more. I'm sure these books will come to good use in my house the older the kids get. Right now they are the perfect stories to share, especially when the kids are displaying the actions in the books!
